Okay, I wanted share a quick video on how I go about purchasing a domain name, where I get the domain name availabilities, and even the ideas for keywords….
Before you go out and purchase a domain name or even check for domain name availability go check out my latest video
How should you truly pick out your names?
As you can see in the video, I personally like to purchase a domain name that have high ranking keywords already embedded. Doing so, your website will simply rank higher in the search engines.
I think it’s still undecided wither you should purchase a domain name that’s short – since they are simple to type out, simple to remember , and less subject to typos – OR longer site names, since they are better remembered…
What do you think?
I say, it isn’t the length that matters so much, when checking for a domain name availability. I’ve seen long and short names rank alike. Regardless, who in the world goes up types in their URL, manually?
For me, about 99% of the time I merely type whatever I’m looking for right into Google and select the first one that pops up – it’s usually right. This is the very reason why I believe it’s so important to have your keywords when you check for your domain name availability.
So how do you pick yours?

This is going to be a VERY short post but…
I got an email from a friend of mine the other day, about some motivational video he saw. I thought nothing of it, waited about a week, and just got done watching it.

Man oh man…
Sometime last week, I started looking more deeply into the true meaning of constraints, and how it related to my business…
During my search, I came across “The Entrepreneurial Emergency: The Uncertainty Syndrome” by Rich Schefren and I have to say, this FREE report has to be the MOST influential report I’ve gotten my hands on, to date.
Watch this video below, as I explain and review the report the best I can, in 10 minutes:
“Only the POTENTIAL of your business is determined
by your talents, knowledge, commitment
and the amount of time and effort you spend trying to grow it.
The ACTUAL SUCCESS of your business is determined
by your CONSTRAINTS.”
Such a SIMPLE concept. but yet so COMPLEX and POWERFUL!
I want to stir up a little question for everyone…
What is YOUR biggest constraint in your online business? (comment below)

P.S. Keep in mind, I’m not making any sort of profit from this review. I’ve just received so much VALUE from Rich’s latest report, I wanted to share. Enjoy the report!

You see Google and eBay are nothing more than search engines. Google searches websites – all different types, while eBay searches listing – all with something to sell.
I want you to understand the MINDSET of an average user of both Google and eBay.
You’re not visiting eBay to find who’s winning American Idol. Your on eBay to PURCHASE a product, nothing more.
Watch this POWERFUL video training below on EXACTLY how I use eBay Classified Ads to get in front of those customers and generate Internet Marketing Traffic, Leads, and ultimately make money from eBay without EVER selling anything!
I know I go through everything pretty fast, but there was a lot of information I was trying to squeeze in the video, keeping youtube’s 10 minute time limit in mind.
You can EASILY be using this EXACT method to generate hordes of targeted internet marketing traffic, leads, and make money, using eBay Classified Ads.
You could send this traffic to products you own, affiliated products, blog post, or to just about ANY website you can think of.
If there’s anything in the video you want me to go over further, leave a comment below and I’ll go over in more detail…

I probably should have jumped on this last week, but I was busy in other aspects of my business…
Last week my mentor, Alex Jeffreys, put out a friendly competition for his students – whoever brings in the most traffic to their blog, wins $1000. Simple right?
Instead of writing how I’m going to drive traffic to my blog, I decided to say it. Watch it here on my 90 Day Challenge, Day 15, “How I plan on driving the traffic to my blog.”
After thinking about it, I decided to go ahead a write a couple things down anyway…
(Just a little recap of the video)
Here’s A List Of How To Get Internet Marketing Traffic To Your Blog:
Twitter
Using Twitter as a vehicle for driving traffic is GREAT idea, but like all social media communities, you should never try ANY direct selling.
What do I mean by direct selling? Well, you can’t go out and say, “Hey GO here and Buy This!” and expect people to hand over their money. Doing this is social media suicide.
Instead, drive the traffic back to your blog.
Think of your blog as your virtual home. Invite them over and let them get to know you. Here is where potential customers will know, like, and trust you.
When done correctly, people will buy from you without ever having to sell to them.
So how to drive the traffic?
Well understand this, Twitter was based on the concept of “What are you doing?” So tell them..
“I just finished my latest blog post about ABC, you can check it out at XYZ.com…” or “I was just reading ABC at XYZ.com”
Remember not to be so pushy, let it be more of an invitation.
I project my videos to be another main source of traffic. If you’re not using some sort of video marketing, you’re missing out.
I personally use Traffic Geyser for all of my video marketing needs.
You can produce a single video, upload it to Traffic Geyser, and it’ll submit it to almost 50 different sites, including video hosting sites, blogs, podcast, and social book marking sites.
Okay, this platform is probably the most underused platform of driving traffic to a website… period.
I don’t even sell ANYTHING on eBay, the only thing I use eBay is to post in their classified ads… that’s it.
The one thing I want you to understand is this, eBay is a place where you can direct sell. When you’re on eBay, your mind is already trained to be looking for something to purchase. The only reason someone goes to eBay is to purchase something, think about it.
You’re in that buying mindset…
Note the differences when your searching for a product on eBay rather than browsing around and socializing on Twitter.
Go ahead and set up an eBay account, it’s free! http://eBay.com
Article Marketing
Articles is probably another source of an underused marketing strategy. The one thing you should take away from this is that articles are free to post, and they stay on the Internet FOREVER. You will forever generate FREE traffic for every single article you write.
I would suggest you try out http://ezinearticles.com/. That site is probably the biggest article directory site on the Internet.
They actually provide you with a FREE training newsletter to get you started in article marketing.
Blog Commenting
The last method I’m going to be using is through blog comments. You’ve probably noticed even on comments on this blog, when a person post a reply, to a post or comment, their own name links back to any website they choose.

I haven’t posted ANY of my 90 Day Challenge Videos on my blog as of yet, and I think it’s time to post some. Actually, I’ll just post both my first one, “My Intro And Goals” and my latest one, “My Confession.”
Before I show you those videos, I want to tell you what a 90 Day Challenge (90DC) is and why I decided to do my own 90DC.
Basically a 90DC is just a video journal, plain and simple.
These challenges have been done MANY times before (made famous by one of the most famous web 2.0 guys Dennis Karganilla or DK from http://AskDKLive.com ).
Personally, I’ve never done a 90DC so I don’t know if there’s a specific set rules of what to do and what not to do, but to be honest with you, I don’t think there’s ever a right or wrong way of doing ANYTHING – that being said, I’m going to do it MY WAY.
Before I started my 90 Day Challenge, I had a hard time setting goals. The goals I did have, I had a hard time setting myself accountable to them.
So I thought, what better way to hold myself accountable to my goals then by journalizing on video? I could set my goals, record my steps, and show the world – PERFECT!
You can check me out on youtube (don’t forget to rate , comment, and subscribe). I’m posting all of 90DC videos over there, and other video sites for the everyone to see. Leave me comments!
Also, I’ve decided to podcast my videos into mp3’s – I’ll put that on the list for my assistant to do tomorrow… I love outsourcing =D
Anyways, here are the videos I promised:
90 Day Challenge Day 1 – My Intro And Goals
90 Day Challenge Day 10 – My Confession

This is going to be a quick post…
I’ve asked this question in many different places, and wanted a centralized place to view everyone’s comments.
I wanted to know YOUR opinion on allowing your personal outsourcing team access to business courses you’ve purchased.
This is just an ethical question of right or wrong…
For example, say I went and purchased Frank Kern’s Masss Control, John Reese’s Traffic Secrets, and Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing course. Would it be okay to upload these courses to a secure password protected site, having access only for my full time personal outsourced team to view and learn from?
In essence, having this be their training site, before they start their projects.
Or are these courses only meant to be viewed by a single person, versus being viewed by your entire business, including business partners and team members?
Tell me what you think, I’d like to gather YOUR comments before I post my follow-up and opinion on this matter.
Thanks
Alex Lim

Today I really wanted to show everyone a GREAT way to find “BUZZ” worthy topics to write about on their blogs. Finding these topics are KEY elements to grabbing HUGE amounts of traffic.
Let’s face it, if your not writing about interesting topics, no one’s going to read it!
I’ve included a video about how to find buzz topics right from Twitter (and I included other sites) below:
There you have it.
The key is finding hot topics to write about and incorporating it into your marketing or your even your story.
I actually posted this method of discovering buzz traffic using Twitter BEFORE I even got a chance to write about the topic mentioned in the video! I hope EVERYONE takes action today!
Alex Lim
P.S. I wanted to shoot this video DIRECTLY to all you fellow Alex Jeffrey’s students. Just some ideas for our traffic competition coming up next week! Good luck EVERYONE!
